Record every mushroom you meet in the woods — species, spot, weather, photos, and notes — and watch your own forest atlas take shape, foray after foray.
SporeFlux keeps the rhythm of a real notebook — quick to open, calm to use, and built around the way foragers actually remember a season.
Save each mushroom as its own entry — species, date, location, forest type, and the weather that day, all in seconds.
Pin the clearings, the mossy stumps, the lucky ridge — and find your way back to the places that keep on giving.
Attach your own photographs and jot down the smell, the soil, a snatch of doubt — observations only you would think to keep.
Watch which places yield the richest harvests and which stretches of the year bring the most finds, season over season.
Track your progress and unlock quiet milestones as your collection of species — and your eye for the woods — keeps growing.
Calm natural colours, gentle motion, and a layout that reads like an old explorer's notebook — for first foray or hundredth.
Pick a species, a habitat, and the day's weather — SporeFlux drafts a specimen card just like the one you'd keep on a real foray, and quietly counts how your record is growing.
Wander far, remember everything, and let no find go unnoticed.
SporeFlux is built so that everything you record stays on your device. We never reach for your data — because we never collect it in the first place.
Here's exactly how that works, in plain terms — no legalese, no fine print hiding a catch.
We don't collect anything. SporeFlux has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location, and we don't gather usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash telemetry. The entries you create — species, dates, the spots you mark, forest types, weather notes, photos, and personal observations — live entirely on your device and never reach us.
Because we never receive your information, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, profile, or sell. Every feature — logging finds, mapping favourite spots, building your atlas, tracking achievements, and surfacing seasonal patterns — runs on-device using only the data you choose to enter. Your records are processed locally, for you, and nowhere else.
All of your SporeFlux data is stored locally in the app's own storage on your device. There is no cloud backup, no remote database, and no synchronisation to outside servers. Your photos and notes stay where you put them, under your control, on the hardware in your hands.
SporeFlux does not embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, trackers, or data-sharing SDKs. We don't hand your activity to social platforms or marketing partners. The app does its job without quietly inviting anyone else along for the walk.
Since your information never leaves your device, its exposure to outside risk is kept to a minimum — there is no central store for anyone to breach. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode or biometric lock, because the safety of your local journal ultimately rests on the safety of the device that holds it.
SporeFlux does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13, which keeps it consistent with COPPA principles. There are no accounts to create and nothing transmitted to us, so a younger forager can keep a journal without any data being gathered.
You are always in full control of your records. You can add, edit, or delete any entry from within the app at any time. Because nothing is stored remotely, removing the app from your device permanently erases the data it held — there are no server-side copies, hidden backups, or lingering accounts for us to retain.
We may update this policy as SporeFlux evolves or as the law requires. When we do, we'll revise the Effective Date above. Continued use of the app after an update means the current version applies, so it's worth a glance now and then.
